Turncoat and Abbott ended up at the same barbers
Sep 13th, 2018 at 12:51pm

Quote:

Malcolm Turnbull and Tony Abbott somehow ended up at the same barber shop at the same time.

As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken.

The barbers were both afraid to start a conversation, for fear it would turn to politics.

As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Malcolm in his chair reached for the aftershave.

Malcolm was quick to stop him jokingly saying,

"No thanks, Lucy will smell that and think I've been in a brothel."

The second barber turned to Abbott and said... aftershave "Mr. Abbott?"

Abbott replied,

"Go ahead, my wife doesn't know what the inside of a brothel smells like".

So what you're essentially saying is that Abbotts wife has no life experience. Cool.

Good one. I have actually heard from multiple sources that Margie Abbott is one of the loveliest, down to earth, most humble ladies you could ever meet. And Warren Mundine and Graham Richardson have also said that if you dislike Abbott and want to stay that way, don’t meet him.

Oops, typo. I guess I have both racism and sexism on the brain after the left trying to pretend that Serena was penalised for being a black woman and not for acting like a petulant whinging child.

My bad, that was more a comment on how Tony would feel, rather my expectation of her in the kitchen.

See again, I can maintain nuance here. I agree with her being penalised, but I can see how Mark Knights cartoon could be perceived badly.

How do you know that Tony thinks that?

And yet not a word when other cartoonists, or Knight himself, makes the same cartoons about whites.
