Its important to remember that cartoonists who portray Mohamid in a less than a glowing portrayal in Muslim infested territories will be dealt with.

Perhaps Auggie was comparing Islam to Nazism.

Amazing when Augustus Caesar was actually Octavian, who killed off all opposition such as Marc Antony, ruthlessly hunted down Cleopatra's son Caesarian, and became dictator of Rome .... the title Augustus - stemming from wisdom etc - is a title designed by sycophantic toadies to keep their heads.... not an accurate reflection of the character of the man himself.

Mmm, except for the fact that he was pretty much a benevolent dictator.

He destroyed the greatest civilisation the world had seen up to that time. Living standards did not reach the same level again for nearly 2000 years.

Evidence?

You don't actually believe in benevolent dictators do you?

So, no evidence but a theory proposed by FD himself. How fitting.

It is not my theory Auggie, as clearly explained in the link. There is also evidence presented, as well as the source of the evidence.

The Roman Empire lasted from 27 BC (from the time of Augustus Reign) to 1453 when the Ottomans invaded Constantinople. That's more than 1400 years of Roman administration, longer than the Republic endured.

I could draw a small circle in my backyard and call that the Roman Empire. That doesn't make it the same thing.

It took you 2 hours to come up with that response.
