I have to admit the funniest boycotts I've seen are from people saying screw Nike, I'm buying Converse. Whilst not knowing that Converse are owned by Nike.

This has brought the nutters out and their enablers - the mass of affluent white Americans who feel threatened by peaceful protests and think that they are the arbiters of what constitutes "patriotism."

What everyone misses is that the NFL exists only to make money and is not mentioned in the Constitution ... not only that, the stadiums are built on the backs of taxpayers to make the rich only richer.

Trump has latched on to the issue because it is red meat to his base ...
