Best Shopping Centre Takeaway?

Motto Motto has unreal soft shell crab rolls.  Yum yum!

In general there are too many Asian takeaways in shopping malls but the soft shell crab rolls at Motto Motto are a nice surprise.

the way to get the fresher stuff is to join the 2nd lunch rush. That being said its not good food to begin with.

If I need lunch while I'm in a shopping centre I go straight past the food court (yuck) and find the nearest deli and get 100g of oven roasted turkey,  rare roast beef etc. Costs pennies and a million times more healthy

I'd go to one with high quality and turnover. And I'd never ever ever go to a supermarket deli.

Never eat the cr@p they serve up in Food Courts.......particularly after watching some of the tricks they get up to with leftovers and old foodstuffs.......same as Bunnings Sausage Sizzles....after watching a young guy coughing and spluttering whistling cooking the stuff, its put me off for life......

I usually never eat Food Court food either but I made an exception to have a soft shell crab roll and it was worth it.

If I am hungry I usually buy some cold meat and a nice crusty bread roll and take it home to put together.

My main Deli has long gone but there are a couple not far away.  The problem is that they are hellishly expensive now so I rarely frequent them.  Quattro Deli in Chatswood is good but, again, too expensive for the usual Deli staples.

Unless the freshness is sealed in. Of course.
