I tend not to partake in drugs when traveling in developing countries, unless I really know the people.

I did have a fun night on mushies at the Koh Phangan beach party many years ago

Now its become a bit of a Tourist trap with many preferring the far cheaper Cambodia as an alternative. Yep - its hard to find a cheap, pristine, simple 'other nation' experience these days.
