racist....
if hammer said
why do
muslim extremist. [far far left] always resort to violence..
you would be all over him...
I certainly do not condone this..
but how do they know they were far right?? did they claim the assault?...or someone arrested...
its pretty pathetic!!! what ever do they think they will achieve ?
cods, I can't really get past this: "
muslim extremist. [far far left]".
Could you please explain to me
why Muslim extremists are far, far left?
Hammer: can you help her out?
We can all agree on this, right:
- Left wing = liberal
- Right wing = conservative
So, do you have any idea why cods might think that Muslim extremists are (very) liberal, as opposed to (very) conservative?
It's got me flummoxed.
It's a evolving description Pecca. Right wing usually means white anti leftists. I wouldn't call muslim terrorists in white countries conservative types. Actually the far right aren't conservative either. They want to bring down the current state of western politics. I can't make sense of any of it actually. It's far more complicated than simple brandings.
Well, I wouldn't necessarily say they're right
or left.
It can be argued that there are basically four types of extremists (radical groups):
- Right wing
- Left wing
- Politico Religious
- Single issue
Muslim extremists obviously fall into the 'Politico Religious' category.
However, in the absence of that category, they fit right wing rather than left wing.
Let's look at the left and right's views on gays, for example.
Left: generally support gay marriage; support anti-discrimination laws to protect LGBT against workplace discrimination.
Right: generally opposed to gay marriage; opposed to certain anti-discrimination laws due to certain religious beliefs.
Which one looks like a Muslim extremist's views?
