All the intrigue and panic in the Labor Camp goes right over poor old mild mannered armchair arm waving rtard Polly Waffle's head.

What sort of vile vicious skullduggery is going on in the union controlled Labor Party as they put the skids under Emma.

You would have thought she would be able to pass the unions corruption acceptance test all right.

Labor is trying to bury the massive Husar scandal while Mal is having the time of his life talking about an RC into Labor corruption etc.

Labor tells members to say nothing about Husar scandal
By Deborah Snow, Nick O'Malley & Alexandra Smith 3 August 2018 — 5:51pm

The NSW Labor Party’s powerful administrative committee has urged all party members to refrain from comment on the Emma Husar investigation, as Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull seized on the affair to declare it had sparked “civil war” inside Labor.

The 44-member committee unanimously adopted a resolution from state secretary Kaila Murnain on Friday, which seeks to calm the uproar over the Husar inquiry. The embattled MP has been accused of staff bullying, misuse of parliamentary entitlements and sexually provocative behaviour towards a frontbench MP. The inquiry, by barrister John Whelan, is expected to report within the next fortnight.

“The administrative committee notes the status of the Whelan assessment and calls on all party members involved to respect the process,” the resolution passed on Friday states. “In particular, members should refrain from making comment, either publicly or privately on the matter, in the interests of the integrity of the process and the welfare of all involved”

Mr Turnbull used the leaking of an explosive letter on the Husar affair to turn up the heat against Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.

The contents of the letter, purportedly from Mr Whelan to Ms Husar, appeared on the Buzzfeed website on Thursday and set out extensive allegations against Ms Husar, including claims she adopted a sexually provocative pose in front of frontbencher Jason Clare. This has been strenuously denied by Ms Husar and Mr Clare.

Buzzfeed also reported a new allegation that some campaign monies ended up in Ms Husar’s personal bank account.  Ms Husar has branded her accusers "liars" who are seeking to tarnish her reputation.

“Mr Shorten has got to be up front now and tell us exactly when he or anyone in his office knew about this, when they knew it and what did they do about it,” Mr Turnbull said in Sydney on Friday afternoon.

“His claim that this has all come as a surprise to him is simply not credible. The allegations are very very serious. It shows that there is enormous enmity, there’s like a civil war going on in the NSW Labor Party, that this correspondence, this lawyer’s letter to Emma Husar would be leaked.”

A spokesperson for Mr Shorten told the Herald that “as has been explained numerous times,  NSW ALP informed Mr Shorten of the investigation on July 18. Why can’t Mr Turnbull say whether or not his Jobs Minister [Michaelia Cash] is being investigated by the police [over media leaks relating to last year's AWU raids]?”

Ms Husar, a first-term MP, was elected to the marginal seat of Lindsay in the 2016 election. A single mother of three, she has also been accused of employing her children’s nanny in her electorate office. She has robustly denied the accusations against her, but told the Herald on Friday she could not address any of the allegations at this time on legal advice.

Inside Labor there is feverish speculation about who leaked the Whelan letter to Ms Husar and for what purpose, given that only a tiny handful of hard copies ( just two, according to some sources) existed.

Many inside the party doubt that Ms Husar can re-contest Lindsay if the Whelan report contains adverse findings against her. However there are concerns she may not willingly accept disendorsement.
