juliar.

its important that we of the "noble right" dont descend into the gutter with the socialist rabble.

the socialist rabble (and the CFMEU are the epitome of the socialist rabble) are the great wreckers.

they see a business doing well and they just cant stand it and they have to wreck and destroy.

its the same with the socialist media.  the ABC see a successful business and they just cant take it.
be it horse racing, or cattle, or the banks....they just cant stand to see others doing well.

now Miss Husar (like her or hate her) at least , as a single mum, had the guts to get off her welfare ass and have a go.
she was an MP. thats pretty impressive.
but the media (nearly all socialist) cant stand to see someone doing well.

you see this in the welfare mentality, they dont want to see one of their kids getting "too big for his boots".

its a sickness. they have to bring that person down.

so what if she made some staffer pick up dog poo. bloody good for him/her to know their place.

her reputation is in tatters.
all due to nasty gossip.

we of the noble right should be extending an olive branch.
how many small business people have been brought to their knees by some viscous gossip from a disgruntled socialist employee.

emma will continue to get my support.
i despise the mediocre armchair critics who risk nothing and do nothing and sit around and whine and complain. let them join the labor party where they can immerse themselves in that culture.
the right should always stand for championing all those who take a risk and have a go

Mark Latham on Radio Super Network, talking about Labor's Emma Husar (is she the new Craig Thomson or Sharon Stone?), the ridiculous 'gender friendly' advertising rules now being imposed, 'They Day' in Victoria, the Coles/plastic bags debacle and NRL Immortals (they now have too many, debasing the currency).

no juliar. we need to be resolute and noble.

peter dutton and tony abbott are good examples of noble grounded emotionally controlled men

look how the media tried to smear Peta Credlin.

the media seek only to destroy.

WE are better then that  Wink

Bulldust Billy was shaking in his slippers at the thought of Emma resigning and causing another by-election that Labor would lose.

Was Emma sabotaged because she was not a union brown noser like all the other Labor dumbos ?

Emma Husar falls on her sword, Labor breathes a sigh of relief
By Deborah Snow 8 August 2018 — 8:06pm

It was probably the best the NSW Labor Party was ever going to salvage from an increasingly toxic battle between Emma Husar and her accusers.

Her decision to announce she would not recontest her highly-marginal western Sydney seat - but would remain a member until the next federal election - avoids the worst-case scenarios for Labor.

...

The first of these, a byelection, would have risked a re-run of the proxy Shorten versus Turnbull contest that dogged the recent Longman (Queensland) and Braddon (Tasmania) byelections.

A second nightmare scenario could have seen a bitter and angry Husar, disendorsed against her will, sitting in Parliament and tempted to lash out against her enemies while providing an easy target for government taunts and provocations.

Instead, Husar has grasped an opportunity to cast herself as a sacrificial lamb for the greater good. “I did this for my federal colleagues, to give them the best chance of winning the next election,” she told Fairfax Media on Wednesday.

She has also done it for her three children, who she said had been “really pushed to their limits” by the drama of the last few weeks.

Inside NSW Labor there can only be relief, despite the froideur that has descended on Husar’s relations with the party’s Sussex Street headquarters. She says she has not spoken to party officials there since last Thursday.

Those officials have been aware of the complaints against Husar from former staff since last year and had appointed barrister John Whelan as “independent assessor” to investigate.

He began that probe in February. But the lid blew off their containment strategy on July 19, when Buzzfeed revealed the fact of the investigation, following up two weeks later with a leaked letter from Whelan to Husar outlining the allegations in graphic detail.

The vast bulk of these - including bullying and harassment, sexually inappropriate behaviour and inappropriate use of parliamentary privileges - the embattled MP has denied. But the denials seemed only to spur her accusers on, with no break in sight to the vicious circle of accusation and counter-accusation. That chain has now, she will be hoping, been broken.

Ms Husar says she has made the decision of her own volition. If that is so, it was with the aid of advice from a number of sources, Fairfax Media understands, that relinquishing the battle for Lindsay to a newcomer at the next election was the right thing for her, and for the party.

Her decision to bow out of Lindsay at the next election came as the Whelan investigation was reaching its much-anticipated end point. Senior officials were due to get a verbal briefing on his interim report on Wednesday evening, with the written version likely to have landed on their desks on Friday.

Ms Husar, once the dream Labor candidate - a “real person from Penrith” as one party source put it - the battler par excellence, now may gain the grace of a few months to prepare for life after politics.

a sad and sorry tale.

a parliament that focuses on gossip about a woman from penrith
a parliament that makes little gestures like hand wringing over a tampon tax or , here in qld, debating a name change for a childrens hospital.

and all the while, we will soon be facing blackouts , business closures and 2 hour commutes thanks to population growth.

if we ever needed our conseravtive leaders to stand up and lead and quit the gossip its now  Wink

Aqua,

just think of the HUGE population growth if Labor got in and RESTARTED the BOATS as there is a huge armada of leaky boats queued up just waiting for the announcement, "LABOR WINS THE ELECTION!!!".

...
If Labor got in this will start all over again.

I cringe every time I see  a righty take that attitude....I seriously do..

its turned me right off posting in fed politics....

this is/was a thread to get back at leftwhinger

and like topsy it just growed....

its is a mocking thread....

this women did every thing I thoroughly dislike seeing MEN DO....treating people who are just doing their job.. with utter disrespect...

it cant be ignored   a legal as submitted it all to the investigation into this womens office...

she was a STAR in shortens 40%... of course he knew....

to me it says more IF HE TRULY DIDNT KNOW...for the simple reason

she has only been there 2 years
she claims to be a victim of ABUSE...DV..growing up.

yet she abused her position by abusing staff.

she claims doing it tough A SINGLE MOTHER OF 3.

yet she protected a staff members daughter who had left home!!  for a month without telling the parent where her daughter was.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
what mother puts another mother through something like that?

she claims to work for NDIS

yet she leaves her son who has autism for a position in Fed Politics..... which can involve many nights away from home

now of course the chickens have come home to roost..... but rather than stick around and face the outcome of the investigation by NSW Labor.....which she claims  everything levelled at her is  untrue..... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

it is in the media aqua... but only since the investigation started in March  and this from what I can understand has been going on since she won the seat...... Sad Sad

like Barney if you want the limelight in the media  when everything it rosy......

then you have to accept   if you have a dark side   that too will be in the media if it gets leaked...............

codsy is upset by Aqua's support of Labor's shemale version of Craig Thommo.

A coupla COMMENTS from the man in the street.

Hacka 1 HOUR AGO
That we'd reach this point has been obvious for a couple of weeks. But now we can turn to the bigger question - what role did Shorten play in the entire saga and how could he not know ?

John Ralph 1 HOUR AGO
Interesting how Shorten denied knowing anything, and could not or would not support her by seeking facts.
Once again we have a political party and its leader who cannot or will not lead - hardly promising stuff given the LNP are likely to be turfed out at the next election.

Where is the talent in the ALP - same question for the LNP.

Siting members come from within their internal system, and the sheer lack of talent, insight and experience is telling, same for all political parties, because they lack the depth required to properly manage Australia.

It is reflected every day in the media outlet of choice as to the performance of politicians who demonstrate staggering arrogance and inability to step outside their antiquate political mantra - it is the reason so many politicians are out of touch and out of date in Australia.

This is just another episode that begs the question just who is pulling the strings in your political party of choice - do you really know who you are supporting, and who you are voting for, and are you indirectly supporting their lifestyle to the detriment of Australia first.
Where do the power reside - not with our leaders it seems.

i dont accept that the media and the "mob" have the right to tear someone down, particularly when this is all just accusations.

if all it takes is for a disgruntled member of staff to go to the media and make accusations, then this is extremely worrying.

we are not all like trump or aquascoot.

many people, if their reputation is being trashed, if their kids are being attacked on social media, if the media are using clickbait to just attract eyeballs, will succumb to the pressure and give up.

the banks admit to stealing vast sums from peoples bank accounts for services they did not provide.

what has Miss Husar actually been found guilty of?

i have had this arguement with Gweg.

trial by media is a very very dangerous thing.

the removal of the presumption of innocence is a very very dangerous thing.

i'm not surprised she caved .
its a rare man who can take the pain and keep carrying the cross up the hill despite being betrayed by all.  her staff, her leaders, her party have betrayed her....thats far more distasteful to me than the fact she got a slovenly staffer to walk her dog

well that might be so aqua   but they are members of parliament   like trump they put their head on the block...

are you in favor of censorship?.....should Joyce have been spared as well???????.....

this is a workplace problem dont forget.....

if this happened in a local 7 eleven  crook would have been all over it......and you know it!

and rightly so......this investigation started not that long after she won office...... it came to a head in March this year....

should she be allowed to continue in the way she has been accused of????... is that what you would like to see....... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

do you think the boss down at the local 7 eleven  would be allowed to continue under the same circumstances?... you see you cant be expected to treat an MP different from a local boss.... at least I dont believe in one law for them and one for the rest of us.. Roll Eyes

this lady put herself up as an exemplary  member of the public and worthy of being an MP in fed parliament....

44 complaints against her in 2 years aqua....no mean feat....

aqua  I havent read anything on black outs in Qld.....

no mention in the media....perhaps its all being kept quite,..  an d yes we have had one or two in ACT recently...due to weather I believe   if its to do with bad management   then maybe it should be in the media...

just sayin!

so you believe its all untrue....no where theres smoke theres fire?.... Roll Eyes

aqua frowns on the dog poo incidents....

which of course did happen   she even admitted that

do you not concede a turn over of 20 staff in 24 months is a bit excessive?....and would smack of problems... Sad
