How could I let this pass? A Russian spy who had ingratiated herself with the NRA & GOP leadership is arrested and all I hear are crickets ... but it gets worse: the GOP has shut down an investigation of this spy.

There has been a lot of misinformation around her, mostly random redheads in photos being attributed to her.

If this is true that he's been arrested, this is a good thing.

I wonder however what the fake news media (the pro-Trump ones) will have to say about this.

I suppose if they bother to cover it, Mech will post an article without any attribution claiming that either Trump personally arrested her, or that she's secretly Chinese.

She has been arrested for operating as a foreign agent - ie spy - and seeking to influence the GOP thru the NRA. Apparently, she has been fairly successful. I wonder if the Russian operation has actually inflitrated the GOP to the extent that Trump is not the only one being blackmailed?

Makes me realize how fortunate I am here. There are if I chose to go, 3 outdoor and 1 indoor gun range with a short distance of my home.

Last year I went for a ride and pulled in to a local 100 yard range. Very friendly bunch and got to fire just about caliber there is - much fun.

Its not that we have these facilities - its knowing that we have a choice. Its what our forebears died for - freedom!

Freedom & Liberty........It's what mankind was given by a higher power than government could ever hope to be.....The American Bill of Rights....the First 10 Amendments to the US Constitution are up front because they are the most important aspects of a Constitution. The Rights of The People....not the government.....the Rights of the People!

The First 10 Amendments to the US Constitution affirms those Rights, & furthermore defends & protects those most important Rights.

The Second Amendment exists primarially so the People can protect those, & all the other Rights given them, not by a "GRANT" of a Monarch or any government, but given them by their Creator way before governments were even an idea in the minds of man.

Without the Second Amendment, there is no way to force government to respect those other precious Rights, or as a last resort, wrest from the hands of tyranny the People's Government, & place it in the hands of People that do respect ALL the American People's Rights!

Governments are the Servants of the American People, not their Monarchical Overlords.
