This is the other "real" reason for the burqa. Her safety. The Muslim world is so male dominated that it's over sexualised. It's the same as a club for homosexual men. A horn fest. That's what happen when men run the show. A woman walking through downtown Syria in a miniskirt wouldn't last 5 minutes. She'd be cat meat. That's why they instruct western women to were a hair covering in Muslim countries. Not so much about customs but her safety.

you must get around a lot I also live in AC T and have only ever seen one....it scared me...sorry but it does..

last week a women dressed in said garb refused to stand in Court... Roll Eyes

some obscure reason she gave thats insulting to our culture......and we know how muslims react if anyone insults their culture....

men do dress as women in Australia gandalf....

and I am sure they dress as Muslim women as well.......... Cheesy

an even bigger thrill if they fool you... Grin

And I regularly point out that Islam is the greatest modern threat to freedom and democracy. I do so by comparing it to Nazism, the KKK and any other ideology of violent intolerance. If I say that Islam is the greatest modern threat to freedom and democracy, I mean that Islam is the greatest modern threat to freedom and democracy, not whatever hysterical misinterpretation you wish you could read into it.
