While I believe that you are joking this is closer to the truth then anyone would like to believe.

This actually ties in well with the thread. Sydney is a mess because population has outstripped infrastructure and the building has to be done in a hurry, rather than an orderly manner.

It didn't help that for 16 years NSW Labor did bugger all in terms of public transport, and now we're playing catchup.

I have to laugh now that Luke Foley has suddenly decided the west needs a metro after they killed the Inner-west and Ryde metros back when they were in (and NSW got stiffed with a $300 million bill for the privilege)
