There used to be a fabulous Starbucks there now the area is just dust
Well, apart from all the high tech businesses scrambling to rent space along the light rail route
Sydney's George Street strip has cemented its status as the tech hub of the city as tier-one brands set up shop in preparation for the completion of the light rail and rejuvenation of the street.
The main activity is between King and Market streets where Optus and Vodafone have signed leases in the Fife Capital's 383 George Street development. They join Apple, Telstra and Samsung along the strip.https://www.smh.com.au/business/companies/george-street-cements-its-tech-hub-status-20170912-gyfrg2.html

When the Light Rail is finally finished (if ever) the thing will be at full capacity immediately, which begs the question why the frigging hell did you build it in the first place
Really? Is the government going to burn all their buses like Labor did to the trams years ago?
See, the wonderful thing about trams, is that when you want more capacity on a route, you can buy more of them. And run them more often. Just like they did on the Inner-west light rail.
