What do you normally think when you see someone who feels compelled to give there opinion on a topic but is afraid to figure out what the topic is first?

Would you rather discard conventional economics that inform yourself about what it has to say?

Over the past 3 or 4 years my interest in the Anthropogenic Global Warming Hypothesis has waned but before that I spent a good 4 or 5 years looking into AGW and reading and trying to understand every free paper I could get my hands on through the internet.

Of course this doesn’t make me an expert as I have just scratched the surface and is not my field of expertise but I think I understand enough to call it out as BS.

BTW after I saw an inconvenient truth I believed what Al gore was saying, I became a foot soldier of the AGW religion overnight and joined political forums to discuss and see what is being done about this phenomenon that will destroy us all.

So I do know enough about this topic to make a comment, as for the economics to deal with this problem I have told you before in threads above.

So your failed efforts to understand the science of climate change make you now dismiss the economic considerations without any need to understand what you are dismissing?

Or perhaps the realization that Australia cant change the world, one person in Australia can do bugger all and the rest of the world is going to do nothing, while pretending to do so.

Makes you switch off somewhat.

None have said it better than Professor Richard Feynman.

The Essence Of Science In 60 Seconds

If it disagrees with observations its WRONG...!

If the hypothesis is wrong why bother with the economics of fixing it......???

Doesn't make sense.

Carbon taxes are not bound to Australia. In fact they offer a way to resolve a lot of the international quagmires.

Its the people that are being stampeded into jumping through hoops to fix something that they have no chance of changing that have their heads in the sand.

Politicians have a great scare weapon to herd you where they want you,,, maybe a bit of socialism via carbon taxes.

No way we are going to stop climate change, what ever the cause learn to adapt.
You cant get more real than that

Ajax would you say that you are so sure of yourself that you don't need to go to the trouble of understanding what you are responding to?
