The government isnt responsible for peoples personal cleanliness, if they are filthy enough not to wash or clean their bags then getting a horrible illness is a lesson they need to learn. No one needs to tell me to wash my own dishes. Get a grip people, cut the hysteria.

Lol, more absolute nonsense. Less plastic bags is less plastic bags people, 2-1 does not equal 3.

Well if you learn from recent history, The NT have banned the plastic bags. So you but the heavier bags for 15 cents, which is cheaper than buying rubbish bags.

For whatever reason Katherine NT had the heavy duty bags turning up in the environment everywhere, heavier plastic means more plastic.

But hell who learns from history anyway?

The answer is substitution, find a lightweight biodegradable product that does everything the present ones do.

well, according to those who know since the NT ban 10 million less plastic bags used. Like I said, 2 -1 does not equal 3.

Use the right material in the first pace and the problem is solved.

The pretend fix has meant more plastic in the environment, by weight.

Your logic is the same as the person who only wanted the pizza cut into four pieces instead of eight, because they could not eat eight pieces.
