Yes Setanta.....they can easily enough get air to where the boys are (flexible pipes going through the water etc to where they are holed up) and wait it out.

Or maybe said pipes can be large enough to escape/wriggle through......Great Escape like?

Nagging question in the back of my mind.......how did they get to where they are if they did not go through water?

Did the water only get there after they got to where they are?

Yes read that this afternoon.

Makes you wonder about the boys chances when one of the experts dies.

Yeah.

I'm really worried for them.

I wish they could drill down and lift them up through a chimney.

The diving option just doesn't sound good.

Someone mentioned drugging them, and then dragging them out.

That might not be such a bad idea.

If they start to panic when going under water - and wouldn't we all - things could go south real quick.

Fingers crossed they all get out safe.

I'm thinking full face masks so voice intercom can be used, plus a low dose of valium.

Yep.

I think drugs need to play a part.

If it was me, I'd be freaking out.

I can't imagine what it would be like for a kid who can't even swim.

Are they Muslims?

Yes, Aussie. It's the monsoon. There was a landslide.

They breed, they spread. Chiang Rai is full of the cockroaches. They sell rotis in the street if you please.

Imagine all this fuss for a few Muselman. More Rohingas get wiped out each hour.

But of course. The rain came down and wiped poor Incie out.

Gordon's trying to figure out a way to blame Islam, but we know who to blame.

I blame Allah, but that's just me.

If they could be in there until November, there's plenty of time to teach them not to fear the water. Bring them out as they accomplish what is needed.

Can the chamber they're in become totally submerged?

No idea. Has that been put forward at a scenario if heavy rain continues?

Less I imagine as they were trapped after heavy rain. It seems obvious that they walked in before the rain started if you read the story. It's unfortunate the coach did not check weather forecasts.

I am not trying to re-invent the wheel here.

I am quite sure all this stuff has been dealt with on site.  So water came in......bloody good pumps can make water go out.

Water does not go up hill.

How does water in those caves drain naturally?  Can't be evaporation.
