This really is an amazing story.

Hollywood is sure to make a movie out of it.

These boys will be men when they come out (in terms of maturity).

Something I do wonder about though, is what are they doing about toilets?

It must be getting a bit smelly down there    Sad

Sure, they can have a wee in the water, but ...

Easy as pie - team of divers and spare tanks... kids'll all be celebs on Survivor - Deep Underground... and there'll be a movie...

Today's news - the kids have heard dogs barking. There may be another way out.

It's dinner.

Seriously though, they can hear dogs, children playing, and a rooster.

What about goggles and a garden hose?

It was good enough for Pearl Fishers.

Is that some sort of reference to ice users?  Makes no sense to me.  Anyone else?

It's not over by a long chalk ......

there are narrow openings that require the divers to remove their scuba tanks to get through .....

it's pitch black and there is no visibility in the muddy water.....

and the forecast is for more rain ....

it's their monsoon season ......

yesterday it said the next 24 hrs would determine if they would survive or not.

The adult who took them in there must be mentally deficient.

No need to broadcast your retardation fekwit, your lack of intellectual ability is perfectly well established.
Now fek off imbo.
Think of it like life, all the bits too tricky for you to comprehend, put down to gosh darned confounded anti "Clive-ians", trying to lay word mines to challenge your adversarial mind, such as it is.(I am so kind I put in a hyphen, so even he should work it out. It is difficult when you are stuck with a 1978 Gregorys, in a GPS World.)This'll be twice, now fek off.

gnads, whilst your post was a tad insensitive it was probably correct.
this could end in a total catastrophe .
i have done a bit of diving and my first dive scared the crap out of me and i am a good swimmer and it was clear water and sunny.
i would think you would be better off intubating and anesthetising these kids and then bringing them out in an unconscious state. god only know how you can do that.

and water is incredibly powerful stuff.
if it rains and they get big currents, no one will be going back in there for a long time.

all in all, this is a disastrous situation
