Perhaps that's one way of looking at it. Have you read much about Angela Merkel's childhood in East Germany before the Wall came down? I think the main point maybe that socialism overlooks the realities of human nature. Nobody's perfect.

They try to be fair and honest and come under the scrutiny of us, who else is there? I would pay twenty cents a week just to keep it.
