I have seen army dudes do some weird sh1t, for no reason other than they think it is cool.

I used to wear a smiley face badge with my cams whenever I went bush (ADF camping), I thought it was cool, my bosses thought I was an idiot and it irritated the sh1t out of them.

Sometime they do that too, but only if they are abbos or homos. In this case I doubt he was a WWII Nazi.

Frankly, it's the fault of the ADF for fostering this kind of culture. Perhaps there should be an Australian values test for ADF applicants??
