So tell what panel beaters need to know about vehicle electrics; other than to turn them on and off safely? To isolate the batteries.

You sound like someone who has never seen an EV. Apart from the lack of a petrol engine and batteries - which panel beaters dont touch, they are identical.

Seems a strange thing to do on an EV battery course. Are they using the EV batteries as the voltage for the welding?

Reasonable come back. Only took you 2.5 days to think of it. how sad.

Most plastics are.

perhaps you missed this -

"Three years ago, Lego pumped $155 million into a new Sustainable Materials Center, which set more than 100 employees on the task of Lego using fully sustainable materials in its products by 2030. This month, the company showed off the first brick-based fruits of those efforts: About 25 different Lego shapes, many of them plants, will now be made from sugarcane-based polyethylene rather than oil-based plastic. It's an important milestone, but a relatively small one—which no one knows better than Lego itself."

https://www.wired.com/story/lego-sustainable-bricks/

Now all you have to do is to find whether the panels are made of sustainable plastic or not.
