It could be all the highly processed junk food.
You are what you eat.
possibly part of the answer Bobby.
for every human cell in your body, you have about 100 bacterial cells.
and you are 80 % water.
so the type of bacteria that live in you will be determined by the conditions of the "soup" that you create through your diet.
if you eat a lot of sugar, you will attract different bacteria and you will have a different "biome".
and the biome isnt just some passive thing.
we know that its a bit of a symbiotic relationship.
so a bacteria that likes high sugar will find it advantageous to manipulate your hormones and biochemistry to get you to, perhaps, secrete more cortisol to raise the sugar content or to produce sugar cravings.
and cortisol is a stress hormone. it affects the immune system, the cancer monitoring system, allergies etc etc.
you are indeed what you eat.
so grab a carrot or a celery stick and wander around your local westfield chowing down on it.
i rarely go to those places but i never miss a chance to do this.
and when fat steve and fat janeen (who have a packet of chips or a chocalate bar) stare (or glare ) at you, just draw comfort from the fact that "you didnt do what they did".
that you remained a man on "your " purpose.
learn to use the social pressure from the crowd , not to break you but to fuel an upward spiral.
now you are beginning to climb the "narrow road to success" and probably a higher IQ
Celery is one of the top absorbers of whatever shite they grow it in: sprays mostly
Ever notice that celery has no skin? And with you chomping down on it straight from the supermarket bins, you're getting more than your day's share of pesticides etc right there
