Linden Hall sets new 1500m athletics record

Congratulations to Linden Hall for setting a new 1500m track record at the 2018 Eugene Diamond League. Hall beats Sarah Jamieson's old mark set in 2006. Jamieson's record of 4:00.93 was slightly bettered by Hall's 4:00.86.

This does raise hopes of whether we will see a female runner run under the 4-minute mark for the 1500m.

Jessica Hull had the previous national record before Hall posted a time of 3:59.67
