Many may just be gullible due to stupidity, but they are not all unintelligent. However, they are prepared to insult their own intelligence with childish explanations of reality. Here are a few reasons: security, fear, guilt, order, wishful thinking.

All religious types tend to be intellectual feebs, making all of their main decisions based on the word of some long dead scam artist, being repeated by some modern day scam artist.
If you need to believe in fairy tales to give your pathetic life meaning then you need to take a long hard look at yourself and grow the fkk up.
Just take a look as the religious types here and tell me they aren't a little on the useless mouth-breather side of the equation.
