That is wonderful news for Trump, I agree. But two-thirds of Americans don't even have a rudimentary understanding of economics. Let me explain it this way: suppose a very light rain began on Monday and did not abate for two weeks. Then, on day 15, the river that cuts through town surpassed its capacity, flooding the entire town. Two-thirds of Americans would blame the flood on the rain of days 14 and 15.
And easier way to analyse it would be a follow up question, can you name the policies you think Trump has implemented that made you vote accordingly?
It's unlikely they can identify what he's actually done. Most people on here can't, they just cite the Obama policy he has undone that's put the budget further in the red.
BUT, as usual, thegatewaypundit which Mech has just regurgitated cherry picked what they liked and left out a tonne of information.
CBS News Nation Tracker poll: Americans give Trump credit for good economy, mixed reviews on N.K. Quote:Mr. Trump looks like a positive factor among Republicans, 7 in 10 of whom say they'd prefer a candidate he backs -- but the president's influence is limited to his own party. More Independents say they're less likely to support a candidate backed by Mr. Trump.
Quote:The economy and the president's support
This survey has followed the levels of Trump support and opposition over time. Today, buoyed by their feelings that the economy is at least somewhat good, the ranks of Mr. Trump's strongest backers have risen to 22 percent from 18 percent back in January. Many of these backers had previously adopted a wait-and-see approach, labeling themselves as more conditional in their support a few months ago. Supporters overall – both strong and conditional -- together remain less than a majority, however, while the ranks of the strongest Trump opponents have remained steady. [quote]

However, there are big divides on this, as there have been throughout his Presidency: his core supporters are the most steadfast in saying that he is looking out for their interests, as well as those of the working and middle class overall.
Quote:People who are more conditional supporters are slightly more likely to say he's looking out a lot for business - including his own - more so than people like them. One of the biggest indicators of being a strong trump supporter is that those backers feel he is looking out for people like them above big business, the wealthy, and his own business interests. And they give him much more credit for the economy than do others, including more conditional backers.
The Poll also states that while 42% of people support Trump, with those who strongly support him rising from 18% to 22%, the majority of Americans, 58% don't.
It's also very telling what the people actually think Trump's priorities are. His own and bis business. The forgotten people are still forgotten. When that penny drops the floor will call our of his support base.
Another choice bit of information left out is the following questions,
When Donald Trump hasn’t gotten everything he wants, is it mostly because of:It’s not clear what specific policies he wants - 23%
Other Republicans being disloyal - 8%
The media coverage - 8%
Democrats obstructing him - 28%
His policy ideas aren’t good - 33%
Many Americans are seeing through the fake news lies and excuses by Trump but even though Trump still holds the majority in both houses, they still think that the Dems are obstructing him.
You can see all the poll results here,

This is just another example of how Trump supporters need to be uninformed to continue their blind devotion.
