Now he claims not to have read the sticky at the top of all the threads in Fringe which clearly states he and monk are permanently banned from here.
It looks like he refuses to admit his wrongs, even though I clearly gave him a chance to redeem himself.

Unless he admits very quickly that he has the typing skills of a four year old and was busy typing so he could not see a thread informing members he is banned I expect he will face a forum wide ban. Cool

I'll tell everyone some truth right now.

When I joined Monk's forum a long time ago -
Both Aussie & Monk tried to befriend me - then within less
than 2 days they asked me for information about
who was saying what at Sparta on PA.

When I refused to betray my friends they turned on me
& the rest is history.
I was stalked so badly & abused that I had to leave Monk's forum.
Even today - Monk has a whole thread devoted to denigrating me
on his forum that is updated on a regular basis.

Monk & Aussie accusing others of stalking is like the pot calling the kettle black.

I don't know for sure but I would bet money that Aussie & Monk have huge folders &
many files on at least 20 members on Ozpolitic & PA.
They have been collecting as much private information as posters are willing to reveal.
In fact they ask questions in a friendly way to try & get information from posters.

I can't remember all the details Cods, but I know that he kicked up a big fuss at the time - and rightly so. It may have continued over here - someone would have to look it up.

As far as me giving a damn about it - it's the principle that I care about.

If one person can do this - then everyone can. I definitely don't want to see PA closed - nor do I particularly want to see Neferti banned, but posting personal details has to stop even on PA. It's not as though this breach has only been a one off. It's been done several times by the same person.

Just because some of you don't like Aussie doesn't mean this is OK.

I know there were a lot of privacy breaches by a few people over the years. I wasn't around in the Carly days and I can't remember what details Monk posted. I know that Skippy's information came from someone from Monk's forum.

What I can't understand is that the same breach by the same person keeps reoccurring.

Usually when a person gets a warning - they don't do it again.

Anyway - what PA does is their business, so let them do it to their own members - not the members here.

According to Celitina it was also monk that gave her my details. That makes sense, monk had my details as I was a member of his fake PA.

I see AiA has done the Carly thing again. Carly posted her details herself on her Forum (which was a 'sister' Forum to the sewer) to which she invited all the sewer Members.....the only Members there were sewer Members in fact. She was running for Parliament as a Candidate for some weird La Rouche Party. She told us all who she was quite openly and asked for voter support.

Simple and as innocent as that.....but of course, AiA fails to tells the whole story, quite deliberately to mislead.

I also see skippy (in Fringe) talking about his name. It was not posted at all. He was the person who complained about that avatar of a mythical singer....as I posted about above. It did contain (according to him and I accepted his word on it) an aspect of his name....not all of his name.

Aussie ignores the fact he demanded proof, which I was silly enough to provide, that it was my name posted.
He then stalked what he thought was my Facebook page and started to drop little comments about my looks on the forum. Luckily for me the Facebook page he stalked was not me but a police officer with the same name as me. I laughed when I realised ozzz had stalked the page of a police officer he thought was me, I also emailed the cop to alert him to ozzz stalking him. Cool

The moral of this story. Ozzz did not place a permanent ban on cele and he in fact begun stalking who he thought was me.
If you value your privacy don’t register at monks forum, ozzz and monk will stalk you.

I think most people would assume that Aussie was giving you an example of what it might be like if it happened to you when he talked about looking up stuff on the internet about you and posting it. He was putting the ball in your Court because it seemed in earlier posts you were condoning Neferti's breaches.

I have chastised Aussie in the past - before your time Cods. I just don't like seeing half a dozen people against one person. If you have to deal with someone online that you don't like - then do it on your own.

Do you think that I should be responsible for what is being said over on Monk's site? I'm not a member there and have no influence. When no-one else has bothered - I've made comments here in the past about the constant reference to Bobby being called gay.

Where are Bobby's mates? Why aren't they defending him? He's got a good support base. If you don't like what Monk says to him - then you say something to Monk. Bobby also has the ability to report Monk's comments if he finds them too offensive.

Obviously you know something about Mothra and John Smith's banning. I don't. Mothra has always been pleasant and civil to me - but then I've been the same to her. I don't know what she did to you to make you hate her so much.

Yes - well do your best Cods to get rid of Aussie. The more you push for it - the more I will counteract the accusations made against him. You have a lot of deep seated hatred towards Aussie. It's not healthy.

However you need to remember that people are banned on Ozpolitic for breaking the rules - not because someone doesn't like them.

but yes it was about 18 months ago....mantra was having a bad time away from the forum and a bit was going on on the forum......I cant remember what....

when it came up I thought mantra meant way back she was banned........I do recall something now mantra but its been long forgotten.

I cannot remember why you were banned as I was not Admin then but you were unbanned very quickly so it was obviously not permanent. Perhaps it was when you had hysterics in the Mod Room and then deleted pages and pages of your posts, ruining the logs, and then stomped out.

We all have things going on, good and bad, away from the forum. To me the forums should be something apart, and above, the good and the bad in our every day lives and not a platform for attacking members just because we are having a bad time.

Just because we don't talk about what goes on in our lives does not mean things don't happen in or lives we need a break from and I find it sad that people use forums for nastiness just because their life isn't the way they want it.

Forum life could give people so much more as an alternate refuge rather than just using it for angst and bitterness.

1. I said I have NEVER banned you and I have not. Which is what you were implying.

2. I said to the best of my knowledge you have never been permanently banned.

Where is the lie?

I had to go searching for a ban of almost 18 months ago when I wasn't even Admin. How can I possibly know, let alone remember, every action an Admin has taken before my time? Obviously I cannot.

Whoever banned you did so for a reason and you will have to ask them what that reason was instead of implying it was me ... because it was NOT.

You were banned for a short time so that is not 'permanent'. If you were banned permanently you would still be banned, which you are not.

I am sure sensible people can comprehend this.

I am not saying you are wrong but I dont think we should judge each other on how we deal with bad things that happen to us and how we cope with them and public forums...

people dont want to come on here for sympathy but a little understanding here and there wouldnt go amiss...

and we do have to let bygones be bygones... they drag us down and make us bitter....that goes for everyone of us...

mantra has just said what a good job you have done at PA and I will add to that... I will say an excellent job. I know its been tough and you have probably felt its very thankless sometimes...but at the end of the day you can look at the site even fd has pushed it ahead which must be very satisfying for you....I am sure its all thanks to what you have done and have been doing......

the negatives from elsewhere are just that! negatives from people who are well!!!!!! NEGATIVE!! by choice I might add....

and as we know we meet all sort on these forums..

put on your good girl hat black orchid and dont let the negatives win whatever you do....

Judging is a 2 way street Cods and I didn't immediately remember what happened, or why, until I checked. I still don't know the why and I wasn't Admin at the time. We all handle things and react in different ways but the implication was made that I was complicit in said ban and that is absolutely wrong. I was not.

So, perhaps I did have “concussion” as my Mother had recently died and a lot of ugliness was surrounding that and what was going on at a small forum on the www was not one of my priorities. Hell, it wasn't even on my radar.

When a Petition surfaced to have her unbanned I voted in favour of it. There is far too much negativity and angst here between people who not only don't know each other but have no idea (or even care) what others are going through and I do try to avoid all that because it is extremely toxic. It's been going on for over a decade and won't stop anytime soon so all one can do is tune a lot of it out.

Mantra did edit/change her last post and I appreciate that.

You know him better than I do AG. He used to do that sort of stuff to me when we were all posting on PA - so it doesn't surprise me, but then a few people have lost the plot with me and let it all hang out since I first joined a forum. I'm used to it now and have grown a thicker skin as a result. I put abusive temper tantrums down to people not being able to handle their emotions. They attack before they think, but we've got time to think online before we post something that might hurt someone.

I don't even know why Cods was dragged into this.

the only place I wont post is monks place....and not because of what he has said today although that makes my stand even more so...

Cods - Ozpolitic isn't getting worse. It's better than it has been for a while. There are a few people who sling off at each other occasionally, but generally everyone is pretty civil - a lot more civil than the time when all the Yahoo's arrived here. That was bedlam.

Compare this forum with PA's Sparta. Just because it's hidden that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Both forums are on a fairly even keel now and they need to be talked up not down.

That's your opinion Cods. Even if I'm too busy to post - I do visit here on a regular basis and have since it first opened. I am in a position to judge - probably more than you simply because I know how this forum flows. I am probably a bit more tolerant than you also. Yes - a lot of good people have gone unfortunately over the past decade. The same has happened at PA. I've seen the current welcome thread and that hasn't changed in years. Quite a few people who have registered there don't even get around to posting because of the abuse they cop the moment they say hello.

It's not every board Cods. So what if various topics are being mixed up on the MRB's? This territory belongs to the moderators and they can do as they please without outside interference. If they want a variety of topics - they're allowed to have that. If you want topics in the right place - post in the general board where a global moderator has the control to keep it more organised.

Sparta is an outdated concept and causes problem because it's hidden and yes there are other hidden forums around the place- I dont post there much tbh- anyway we certainly inherited bunch of pp from Yahoo and some of them caused unrest here and being a sitting member here at the time I watched with interest to see which way it went - we welcomed them and some of them behaved very badly and others I think are quite nice once you dug a little deeper- as for Spots comments- I think he was Spot on Wink

you can only control yourself and be a leader be the change you want to see - how boring if we were all the same ?

Mantra has posted here as long as I and that has been a long time now- she went through a personal crisis and took her eye off the ball for a while- but lovely to see her back and posting with us again
