Let me start by saying I'm categorically not gay and normally feel no same sex attraction, but when I look at pictures of gauchos, I feel an unsettling stirring in my pants.
Just one look at these rugged mustachioed South American horsemen atop their steeds with their hips thrusting forwards and back in a slow canter, their colourful poncho rising and falling in rhythm with their neckerchief fluttering in the breeze.
I only feel this way when I look at pictures of gauchos.
Am I the only straight man who feels this way?
Should I book a ticket to Buenos Aires?
No - you are NOT Gay.
The 'stirring' in your loins is not a sexual attraction for the men, its for the 'life' they live.
Yul Brynner summed it up nicely (and he was a mad wrooter of women, like Monroe) when he "Always led with his ddick." when acting. It was the 'life' of acting that aroused him the most, made him feel more 'manly'.
The Vikings & Spartans (though the Spartans were Bi-sexual) approached battles in much the same way: Sexually. They would intimidate the enemy. The Vikings would stand brushing their long hair in front of the enemy before battle and pass the vibe of being 'sexually aroused' for battle.
As you can see. If you ever became a Gaucho, etc. You would definitely be the 'mans man' amongst them. Not there to get laid with women, but there to represent what is "Best in Men".
But you can be forgiven for your questioning. In this day n' age - via the Media, they can only see 'Gay or Redneck', nothing else.
Who was that singer who sang "Lust for Life"?
