Gordon, sometimes its impolite to say things, even if they are true.

The number of feral pigs out there you could feed the world with them.
In the NT I saw thousands of them., plus the water catchment areas in WA, the Murchison and Kimberlies

Bob Browndick would be opposed to people hunting them for food, because he is a bigoted Green that hates that sort of thing.

Certainly is. When I see pork in the supermarket I think "oh yeah!" then when I eat it I remember why I thought "oh yeah!" and realise why there is none. So is feral goat and wild duck compared to tame walking quack quacks.

Australia is a bit slow.
Venison has been served in the top restaurants in New Zealand for many years. It's a quality meat and not too different to Kangaroo in taste.
Then again, everything happens in New Zealand, before Australia. Hell, they had 'drug tests' by Police over there since I was 11.

Coles/Woolworths: Meat has gone back up to those really expensive prices around 2013-4, where people had to change to cheaper meats like Kangaroo and Camel.
Ironically now - Camel, Kangaroo, Venison, Boer and Alpaca are all very expensive 'Gourmet' meats in blister packs. Funny how in just 5 years they can all jump $20 in price. Roll Eyes

Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken - all low quality to average quality meats. Also many are so produced, especially Pork & chicken in very poor mass-production (lack of) quality.

Give me Venison, Kangaroo, Camel, Alpaca, Duck meats anytime.

I've recently tried Buffalo: a very dark and tasty meat. Reminded me of a meat that was as if it was like 'smoked'.

Stupid Australians though - can't and are too afraid to be 'different' to the USA/UK.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

Alpaca is a delicious meat. It was promo'd on Landline ABC in regards how some Chefs are taking it on as a serious money earner.

I think Australians are starting to 'look around' for better alternatives....
...just like voting: Sick of Lamb ALP & Beef NLP?
Try some Independent choices of meats instead.

I know I have improved my health considerably with near fatless Kangaroo meat, rather than the fatty Beef, Pork and Lamb crap!

NZ has always had a more liberal attitude to hunting and the sale of that meat to comercial interests
