Advising everyone that China is not going to go to war to support Kim Ill Dong in NK - but that strategically it is becoming, as a matter of policy, a genuine threat to global stability, particularly with its demands to control the South China Sea and many 'islands and such in it - thus extending its defensive and offensive perimeter closer and closer to other sovereign nations, thus essentially repeating the actions of pre-WW II Japan in extending its power via air and naval bases.
It is clear that the United States has seen this clear reflection of history, and has seen the reincarnation, in China, of the Divine Mission of Japan that clashed mightily with the Manifest Destiny of the United States to establish trade dominance over the Asian Pacific Basin (as opposed to the Asian Pacific region, which is an economic region with many contributors -many of whom are, not so oddly, the same protagonists as in the 1930's - Britain, Holland and the United States and Japan, China and a few others).
These are all involved on an economic basis..... same as the 1930's, with the difference that China now has greater economic power.
The best we can do is properly gird our loins and await the future cataclysm...... with faith in our arms and those trained to uphold them.
(damn - I sound like Eisenhower sometimes....)
