Light,we are also moving at 500,000 mph in our journey
around the Milky Way galaxy.

We are also moving faster than light when viewed from galaxies over 14 billion light years away.
Velocity has nothing to do with how stones build up over time.
May I add that you live on the Orion arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
Satellite dishes often point to the position of a geostationary orbit
which is not straight up from most locations.
