Via the Media...
We know that the USA is so 'sex-obsessed'.
(well, maybe the Media population there is?)
Here in Australia - is all about 'Money' obsession.
Even the PM is more interested in Economics than Politics.
Australia is not 'over-populated', no.
It's very 'over-Indulgent'.
Besides knocking over 80% of its trees since 1788.
It has become a nation of extreme costs.
For a while, even Sydney and Perth were the most 'expensive' cities in the world to live in.
What was worse, was that they were just not 'worth' the price.
NOW. It's 'recycling'!
Apparently recycling is too expensive to do and people won't pay the inflated costs.
Well, I've worked both Visy & Remondis and recycled material make a fortune.
So the 20% profit is down to 18%. Boohoo!
Like a Farmer who cries drought a week after it's rained good.
Like a Petrol Company that jacks up it's price again because some Arab farted in Saudi Arabia.
Take into account that if the cost to dump a bed Mattress in Sydney is $80 at the tip.
But just 3 hours south of Sydney, you can do the same for just $30
Remember the Bus Strike for increased wages?
Well 3 months later the 'fare' went up 20c
...yep, the Commuter paid for the wage rise, not the Company.
So here we have another 'racket' again, this time with Recycle.
Any excuse as always to cry poor 'convict' and jack the price up to one of the most expensive in the world.
Every Company does it, every Business does it.
From Banks, to boutique Café Latte towns.
In Australia, the customer is not right.
The Worker is.
And you gotta be in it to win it (as the worker).
As for the Customer: Don't spend. Don't 'tap n go'. Careful of what you have to buy and no you don't need what the Media tell you to have.
Living like an Amish in Australia would be a rewarding 'saver' experience indeed.
