And as always, the Luvvies come crawling out of

the woodwork ...

... pleading 'Human Rights' on behalf of the guilty.

link

Considering the cruel barbarism these ISIS Muslims were so happy to commit while they were safe from any retribution, this Iraqi court is showing extraordinary restraint in not having them all hanged from the gallows.

Ah, there we have it: Herbie "logic".

Non-Iraqis kill people = bad.

Iraqi court kills people = good.

On Monday the justice ministry said 11 people convicted of terrorism-related charges had been executed in Iraq, which according to New York-based Human Rights Watch is the world's number four executioner.

'These executions follow rushed trials of ISIS suspects which are riddled with due process violations, including convictions based solely on confessions which are sometimes extracted by torture,' said HRW senior Iraq researcher Belkis Wille.

'Iraq's mishandling of the ISIS trials not only denies victims real justice, but also risks sending innocent Iraqis to their deaths.'

an eye for an eye... barbaric for sure...

but for Human Rights to plead for these people to get a FAIR DEAL....

funny how I do not recall Human Rights saying anything at all.. about JUSTICE  when the boot was on the other foot...

those who joined ISIS  enjoyed the terror they dished out.......this isnt the Aussie way   and I for one am glad about that..

but if they culture says those who live by the sword will die by the sword......

this would not come as a surprise.. Angry

Human Rights Commissions/Councils are constantly condemning terrorists.

For example:

Human Rights Council condemns gross abuses perpetrated by terrorist group Boko Haram

Hmmm - yes.... while I oppose capital punishment, there are times when I am 'conflicted'...... though I would reserve it for only the most heinous.....those who have brutally murdered innocents etc ...

I note that many of these 'ISIS suspects' held look a lot like concentration camp inmates....... and obviously 'confessions' under torture - an Iraqi (etc) specialty - are worthless.

There are times when I'm conflicted too.

However, the premeditated killing of prisoners is uncivilised and barbaric - no matter what the circumstances may be.

Killing people for killing people is the ultimate hypocrisy.

Yeah
I suppose tying a prisoner's hands behind his back and hacking away at his neck with a rusty machete is somewhat barbaric.

Or perhaps stoning acwoman to death

Oh, what about throwing a pooftah off a roof

Murdering kids at a concert or in the street with a car

Bombing anything it can get its hands on murdering innocent people and children

Yeah, I guess we owe these Islamists some compassion and human rights

NOT

You have a principle opposing the death penalty. Principles are worthless unless tested. Up until they are tested, they are just words. I understand your principles and your emotions. You are to be congratulated that your principles have bed tested and found to be worth something.

Good on ya!

You are talking about the substance of the 'higher moral road'. If you sink to their level, they ultimately win. Jesus spoke that we treat our enemies well and in doing so 'pour hot coals on their head'. Doing the right and moral thing is its own victory.

Indeed.

As is strapping a prisoner to a gurney and injecting them with poison or, putting a rope around their neck and strangling them.

All it takes for evil to triumph

Is for good men to stand by and do nothing.

Turning the other cheek is ok to a limit

Once you run out of cheeks, ITS YOUR TURN

Do you just let a mad dog roam the streets biting people?
Do you simply allow a funnel web spider into you house to bite you or your family?
Do you leave mosquitos to come into your house and feed on you, giving you diseases?

If we do not stop these animals
The animals will walk all over us
They have no intention of stopping there terrorism
They see our "moral codes" as weakness
They have been indoctrinated into believing that murder and crime is the right thing to do.

Do you want to be ruled by the Taliban?

Who here doesn't want to see an end to terrorism?

I'm curious.
