He was jailed for denying the holocaust. You invented some tortured mental gymnastics to say he was jailed for whatever the title of the charge was, which meant you could not bring yourself to say what it was he actually did. Everyone told you you were wrong, because you were wrong. You forgot that bit.

Toben is a perfect example of Voltaire's philosophy.

Denying the holocaust is speech. Free speech has been eroded already and its a slippery slope
