I am absolutely 'disgusted' by the 'Western' attitude of using Media (TV, Internet, Radio) to pump out
FLU jab propaganda.

Basically they wish 'everyone' to get Flu jabs to 'prevent' anyone getting the Flu ...with constant 'jabs' preventing getting the Flu 'forever'! 
They are also pumping out that these ARTIFICIAL jabs will build up your immune system.    Whoah! That's a big call.
But hey, Western Medicine treats anyone like an idiot, especially when the Privatised comes with its bill. 

The 'only' reason a 'FLU' vac/jab is justified, is if you are in a health compromised situation or about to undergo surgery - moments when having the Flu would complicate matters.
Other than that - the FLU / COLD is the only true 'natural' immune builder, that keeps people on top of things 90% of their year.

The Mentally over-achieving Western Medical Industry is going too far to try and 'sterilise' Australian people from something that inconveniences them short-term, but benefits them long-term ...basically, remember how 'sterile' the Native Indians of the Americas and the Aboriginals were from lack of 'COLD/FLU' in their isolation and 3/4's of them all were wiped off the face of the world - not from 'invasion', but from weak 'sterile' immunity.

So what the Australian Medical Industry is trying to 'enforce' upon Australian people is totally wrong in its approach. Fear-mongering people into getting jabs is disgraceful!

Using 'rare' cases of people dying from FLU/COLD symptoms (junkies, elderly, already-sick and people who haven't had the flu/cold for many years - which kinda sums up what I'm saying here   ) - as their prime excuse to justify constant FLU/COLD vaccinations is also disgraceful and misleading 

Getting rid of the Flu & Cold 'forever' is like OzPol ridding itself of Aussie & Agnes

as influenza keeps evolving herd immunity doesnt exist. Thats also one reason benefits from the the flu vaccine are limited.

Lots of people get the flu despite having the jabs, they give it for free in my workplace. Yet the ones who get the jabs seem to get sick just as much as anyone else. I think Jasin has a point, your best bet against the flu is to develop a strong immune system and contracting common cold viruses does develop antibodies which may help in combating other viruses such as the flu. Its no accident the most vulnerable are the elderly, the young, smokers and those in general poor health. I think the next global pandemic is going to knock a lot of these people off and flu jabs arent going to be much help. Personally, Ive never had one, I get the odd cold or virus just about every year which is over in a few days. Coworkers who are smokers get the jab and get extremely ill almost without fail.

Whilst this is true, its a simplification. Even though the process is generally the same for bacterial, viral or parasite, you have to go through it every time you get a different bacteria or virus or parasite because the bits our specific immune system recognises is different.


So you can't rely on immunity ot a cold to protect you against a flu. They are different viruses and have different antigens.

Herd immunity is a form of indirect protection from infectious disease that occurs when a large percentage of a population has become immune to an infection, thereby providing a measure of protection for individuals who are not immune.
