The Bible tells us about the the truth:

Luke 12   KJV

[2] For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

[3] Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light;
and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets
shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

The truth is, Booby, nobody here but you and The Moronic believe in the stupid ice age you keep crapping on about.

It is clear that if a GSM happens temperatures might retreat 0.3°C. That compares to 1.2°C warming since 1850. That is the short and straight of it.

The LIA was like 0.5°C cooler than early 20th century temperatures. It wasn’t an ice age at all.

There you have it, an ice age is crap, not going to happen.

Hi Monk! Long time, no read. We are both going to be dust in a hundred years; do you know for certain whats going to happen in the millennia affter that?

We have warmed the world so much the next glaciation has been pushed back some thousands of years. Energy and transport will increasingly be green and clean: electric cars are taking off in a big way. Apart from that nobody knows.

There's been multiple ice ages. They are caused when the earth changes it's position in relation to the sun. They reckon they come in quick too. I hope I'm dead when the next one hits.

Thousands of years? Two thousand, three thousand? The same with climate hysteria; the question is not 'if' these things will happen. On a long enough time-line ithey are inevitable. The question is will they happen in our lifetimes.

The world will keep getting hotter, more extreme weather including massive precipitation events causing flooding. Sea level rise will continue too and will accelerate again with large parts of Greenland, West Antarctica and East Antarctica sliding more and more rapidly into the sea.

The big glaciers can have a face a thousand metres high, all but about 60 metres of that below sea levels. Thanks to AGW warmer waters are reaching these huge glacier faces and undermining them. When glacier valleys are deeper and deeper as you go further inland very rapid melting of ice and consequent sea level rise can take place.

Against that, clean energy and electric cars are beginning to cut emissions and that is a good thing.

Don’t buy a house on a river flood plain or on low level coastal areas!

Major sea level rise in our lifetime? Not likely—unless some major non-linearities play out. West Antarctica will be the one to watch.

Definitely a 1m sea level rise by 2010.

That is a good thing. I think I mentioned that before. An ice age is the ultimate disaster for man. Global warming, although not a good thing may be a blessing in the long run. We can deal with the consequences of warming, the ice tide coming in we can not do anything about.

A 1 metre sea level rise is nothing minor tho! And that assumes “no non-linearities.”
