They say, you know, that we should never judge a book by it's cover.  However, it appears she likes to write horror stories if that is an example of what it amounts to...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

She compared herself to Nelson Mandela, at the book launch.

Oh, dearie, dearie, me.  I wonder if she'd even talk to Nelson Mandela, let alone shake his hand, if he was alive today?  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes

What short memories people have - tony abbott in particular. He was the one that gave her such a hard time a few years ago even causing her to go in jail for a while (all so he could steal her policies i think).

Are you as you were 10 years ago? Do you live as if it as still 2008?
When did you lose half your face? Did it make any diff?

Spot??

I think you will find my face is the same as 5 years ago.

If someone treated you as abbott did hanson and put you in jail and took your policies (actually that was howard) then would you forgive them so readily? It just shows that all the pollies seem to have the same goals in the end and it has nothing to do with us.

Neither was Nelson Mandela.  Those were merely convenient handles that the Apartheid government hung on him, in order to imprison him, Hammer.  Unlike Hanson, Mandela was a great statesperson and a real patriot in the manner of Orwell's definition of the word.   Roll Eyes

Saboteur then.

Operating through a cell structure, MK planned to carry out acts of sabotage that would exert maximum pressure on the government with minimum casualties; they sought to bomb military installations, power plants, telephone lines, and transport links at night, when civilians were not present. Mandela stated that they chose sabotage because it was the least harmful action, did not involve killing, and offered the best hope for racial reconciliation afterwards; he nevertheless acknowledged that should this have failed then guerrilla warfare might have been necessary.
..

Mandela and the other five accused admitted sabotage but denied that they had ever agreed to initiate guerrilla war against the government

The definition of a terrorist is one who uses violence or intimidation in order to achieve poliitical aims. Mandela, without doubt, was a terrorist.

He brought it into the late 20th century, which was far more than the Apartheid era was ever going to do, Hammer.    Roll Eyes

Really?  And your evidence of that is?   I think you also mean, "political aims", Hammer.  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes
