It's a bit hard to take seriously Sessions when he fires the person investigating him from criminal conduct. He is just taking a leaf out of Trump's book.

Well Sessions is going to jail as well as Trump.

So now we know why Sessions fired McCabe even though a court will probably order that the firing was illegal. All Sessions has done is make Mueller look ever closer at Sessions' perjury and begin preparing his indictment.
