The source said the extremist was killed instantly after being shot in the back of the head. You would think that the Muslims may start to question if Allah is really on their side.

Hmm - Guards Squadron... photo is an M-14 .. not bad for every day use with a scope and far out-ranges the 5.56 round... far greater range than the AK, too.... I reckon there's still a place for 7.62 longs such as the M-14 and the M-60, but obviously Ops in Afghanistan etc disagree....

A lot comes into it at that range - any breeze, any heat diversion of the air, any slight 'off' in the shooter's aim.. all can multiply to up to 6 feet or more ... even a slight deviation can lead to a miss of two feet....

Good shot and Allah was definitely with it...
