Immigration - Government policy NO it's NOT
Mar 13th, 2018 at 5:26pm

It's the Oligarchy's Policy

Did anyone watch Q&A last night, it turns out that our immigration policy is NOT our government’s policy but rather the policy of the corporates, I guess they kill two birds with one stone, it keeps salary and wages flat while maintaining an ever increasing market.

I think all our politicians need a few hard stiff back handers across the moushe......... Cheesy

I have to admit I dont watch the silly show...

but I would think  well it makes sense to me.. that the govt would need input from big business if they are the employers!

whats the point of allowing a heap of plumbers to migrate here when we need.miners??>..or vice versa..... I am not saying they have all the power but I would think its not just BIG business its the small farmers as well...that employ the migrants...

everyday someone retires...or leaves the workforce...we cant wait for children to grow up to fill in for them...

You do realise that for many Australians the retirement age(pension eligibility) has been pushed out to 67 years of age .....

and that your Tory mates want to make it 70 yrs of age?

How does that benefit our youth looking for employment?

Our unemployment is at record levels despite what govt. propaganda quotes.

We don't need migrant workers ... skilled or unskilled.

We need to reinstate TAFE & to support apprenticeships ......

but sadly our politicians ....mainly your mob have virtually killed industry & therefore apprenticeships.

Our unemployed youth are being hidden & wasted in Universities doing worthless courses.

And the importation of people who, hate us, don't want to work or integrate either continues.

They need to listen to the experts, if big companies struggle to find employees importing certain types of immigrants even under the 457 taking such input is important but not the deciding factor.

Is it a short term issue or long term ..... its all part of the decision process but at a macro level there is only so much population growth we can absorb without problems.

The quota is 190K every year.

I'm sure within the first year farmers needs would be fulfilled with the visa workers amongst that 190K.

Thats' how we're going to get to 40 million by 2050 every year 190K cause that's what the oligarchy want.....?!?!?!

You do realise that the current preservation age is 58 pushing out to 60?

You can access your super pension at the preservation age. Then morph onto the age pension when you qualify.?

Talk to your super specialist.

No there is no such thing as the Oligarchy. That is just conspiracy theory nonsense.

Big business and property speculators want more population as it gives them more customers.

Politicians want more population as it artificially increases GDP growth and they also receive large "donations" (ie bribes) from the said big business and property developers.

Yes - damned hard to find good staff in Australia already qualified and ready to go... must be something to do with not speaking the same falcon language or not being at one with the company's cultural issues...

Here ya go:-
http://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-aut...

It seems we even need air conditioning mechanics..... airline pilots .... miners -now there's a beauty... can't get those here apparently,so the unemployed a/c mechanics, pilots and miners sit on the dole and worry about a job.....

Companies may put their view - by NO means are they EVER entitled to make the rules.....

Oh... lookee here - ambulance officers..... nurses.... carpenters ....

It seems there are just so many job vacancies that can't be filled without getting in offshore people...

A very interesting admission, and a very good discussion. It's the discussion going on in Sydney now, and the media are largely ignoring it.

They're just the skilled migrants. It doesn't include the foreign students, spousal visas, 457s, and the breeders' kids, who make up 60% of the population boom.

BUILD THE WALL.
