If the talks goes badly, then its off to war. I mean... they did tried to 'talk' to Saddam, Gaddafi etc, just before they were killed.

The latter got in the way of big oil. That is why they lost their lives. North Korea is just getting in the way of a good relationship between the USA and China.

We would probably be calling North Korea the "radiation zone" in the 1980s and a reunified state with South Korea by now.
