NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian must think that everyone who lives in the west of Sydney are morons

On the M4 artery which services the west of Sydney the M4 was finally paid for and all the tolls removed

Then she decided to do major roadworks to the M4 but not the Government no, she farmed it out to private companies, with the situation now that there are high tolls a forever scenario for the poor motorist

The Berejiklian Government will be remembered for privatising everything possible

I have a question...why couldn't some of the billions raked in from the Electricity Grid sell off be used to fix some of these roads

Berejiklian's Government will be remembered as a money grubbing mob that privatised everything they could and punished the average working person

Not sure that is much of an issue the ALP were big on tolls also with public-private projects.

I think it all went south when Baird took on the greyhound industry .......  since then they have not managed the message very well.

Seems they're mostly doing the right thing but their communication is bad. A lot of what's going wrong is because they're playing infrastructure catch up due to the negligence of the Labor years and they've got a lot of balls in the air.

Talk about an absolute race from the bottom and struggling to get off the tarmac....

Codswallop, Gordon - what are these 'infrastructure' failings of Labor that the Libs are fixing up without robbing the public?

Who voted for these completely incompetent sponges???

Quote:
NSW’s $2 billion new trains are too wide to get through tunnels

THE NSW Government has an embarrassing problem with $2 billionnges worth of new trains that are on order — they’re too wide to go through the tunnels.

Whereas the current trains are 2.9m wide, the new models being built in South Korea are 20cm wider. That small difference could have a big impact.

It means the new trains could collide with the tunnel walls on their way up to the world famous Blue Mountains.

But Transport for NSW (TfNSW), the Government body that manages the state’s rail system, has come up with a cunning plan. It has proposed simply relaxing current safety standards. In addition, 10 tunnels built in the 1900s will be partially modified to allow the new trains to run

The only good thing he tried to do.

The greyhound industry had been repeatedly on its last warning for about 60 years.

Too many to name they had a habit of announcing a project just before an election then cancelling it after. One year they announce 12 new projects and cancelled 13,

You have asked this before if your so fascinated by it look up their track record.

You may agree with it, so do many ..... its not my cup of tee ..... they actually band it in Texas ........ but it was the way it happened. If Baird had of done some research and consultation he would have realised the political significance of it. He assumed no one would object but they did big time especially in regional areas. This is a typical mistake the ALP usually makes. The Gilliar government made dozens of bad decisions like this.

A very similar one was the ALP Bending over backwards on Poker machines for Wilkie idiot ..... boy did that bite back especially from traditional ALP voters Smiley

I want that bloody roundabout at the end of the F.3 gone yesterday - got stuck there for half an hour in queued traffic backed up for about 4km - was looking for the big prang or the flooding - nope - just a normal day at the roundabout.

When politicians install something like that 30+ years ago and then allow industrial buildings to grow up around it in what was once just bush so that on resumption day it will cost a fortune - and they crow about spending two billion on a sports stadium.... you have to ask where they get their priority list from.
