A 77-year-old man has been injured during a home invasion in the Logan suburb of Kingston.Police said two women, who are known to the victim, arrived at the home on Juers Street at 7.15pm, before one woman entered the house while speaking to the victim.
The second woman remained outside.
A short time later, police said a man armed with a gun entered the house holding the woman who had been waiting outside.
The man allegedly demanded money from the 77-year-old, before hitting him on the side of his head.
The trio stole a quantity of goods before fleeing the premises, police said.
The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
Police are continuing to investigate.

Police have arrested two men after an aggravated burglary at the home of a disabled pensioner in inner Melbourne.
The 41-year-old man, known only as Adam, says he no longer feels safe in his Collingwood public housing unit after four youths assaulted him early Saturday morning.
Adam was at home about 3am when he was allegedly confronted by the youths in his Vere Street unit.
Adam sustained minor injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital for observation.
He told Channel Nine on Sunday his attackers beat him repeatedly with a timber plank.
"I just kept yelling, 'Help, home invasion, help, home invasion'.
"I don't want to live here. I want to leave. I don't want to be here anymore."
The victim's mother, named only as Adela, said the ordeal had left them shaken.
"It was really quite upsetting to see him in that state. He was terribly, terribly upset," she said.
Police arrested two men in the neighbouring suburb of Fitzroy on Sunday night.
