BigOl64,

I'd venture to guess, that you have watched the The Lord of the Rings trilogy films by J. R. R. Tolkien ?

The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The Return of the King

Yes, i did watch them.

IMO, the bible is a book that is intended to touch our conscience.

I would say, that many people don't appreciate those types of 'impositions'.

Romans 8:7
.....the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Revelation 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

I found all of JRR Tolkin's work tedious and could barely sit through the movies of the same name.

Your arse hurt, eh?

Karnal,
you have put a homosexual slant on a post where it wasn't needed.

.................. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity................

1 Corinthians 13:11-13

KJV

Quote:
........... When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love........

1 Corinthians 13:11-13

Hole needs to come out - into the light, as it were.

He'd be a lot cheerier.
