in fairness I think fibre to the kurb is fibre to the lead in.

Obviously not as good as FTTH with several glaring disadvantages but not as bad as the current rubbish.

We live in a a flood zone so nodes were ever going to go in.We get FTTC. Another 10m of fibre would be FTTP. I'd dig the f'in trench myself even though you could pull it through with the copper in reality.

Why not just get 5G when it arrives

How much will 350GB a month cost me on 5G?

How much Pirating are you doing ?

No idea the technology has yet been implemented

I get 200Gb for my $70 / month cable  I assume it will met this price or similar its called a free market they would not build it if its not competitive.
If not don't buy it.

No pirating. I don't watch FTA TV, anything I watch comes over the net, son and his wife live here, his games, netflix etc.

Our current plan is 500GB for $65. That includes line rental for home phone.

My cable plan has only 200GB yet I do similar.

5G will have to price competitive especially against 4G
