Carnival Ships more cater for families I understand, one of my friends went on one and complained of kids running wild.

The Carnival group consist of Carnival, P&O, Princess lines in Australia and other cruise lines overseas. P&O & Princess have lots of oldies on them on a Princess one I went on you had to watch you didnt trip over some old goats walking stick!  Grin Grin

Personally, I just cannot picture myself staying in one place for entire 1 to 2 weeks, even if its a large cruise liner.

They stop off at different destinations. You're not locked on board for 10 days. Mostly travel at night too.

We have several blokes at work ranging from 35 to 60 who go "cruising" often. They love it.

Interesting. It's not for everyone, I suppose. I've crossed the world's oceans five times with each taking weeks, and enjoyed every moment of it.

And needless to say, the way of the future in an ever-more crowded world will be floating cities out on the oceans.

looking for fights with Aussies.

Typical of lebs though they travel in packs.

Most of the Aussies they picked on were elderly, but thats just the leb way isnt it.

Cowards, filthy primitive cowards.

........... News update... passengers say compo offer for bloodbath on cruise mean ......  <<<<

https://au.news.yahoo.com/vic/a/39215318/carnival-legend-passengers-reject-compe...

Passengers have rubbished a cruise line's offer for compensation after a South Pacific getaway turned into a nightmare marred by three days of violence.

The Carnival Legend arrived in its home port in Melbourne on Saturday, a day after 23 members of the same family were offloaded in an unscheduled stop-off on the NSW South Coast.

Members of the "big Italian family" allegedly spent days attacking "Aussies", with people "getting strangled and punched up", passenger Lisa Bolitho told reporters.

'Full-on' attacks for 'days'

"Very violent, they were full-on attacks," Ms Bolitho said on Saturday, describing how the holiday came to a crescendo with a late night “bloodbath”.

Ms Bolitho also questioned the ship management's handling of the incident.

"The captain said 'What do you want me to do about it - throw them overboard?' We were saying, ‘We want them either locked up or taken off board’,” Ms Bolitho said.

“It never happened and there was another four occasions. We dropped them off at Eden... but that was after three days of violence."

She said security staff ended up “jumping” the family, and had no choice but to do so. “They deserved everything they got — they were the aggressors,” she said.

Days of on board fighting during the 10-day cruise preceded the major brawl at the ship's nightclub early on Friday. Ms Bolitho's son Jarrah was allegedly targeted by the family, with the pair fleeing and locking themselves in their cabin.

"I was watching the fight and one guy came up to me and said 'Do you want to go too bro?'" Jarrah said, adding the offenders were in their late teens and early 20s.

"My mum had to drag me away from it all. They were trying to pick on any Aussie they could find."

Carnival Cruise Line said it was offering guests a 25 per cent future cruise credit as a "goodwill gesture" but some passengers slammed the offer as "unacceptable".

"I won't be travelling with Carnival ever again so a 25 per cent off a future cruise in my eyes is unacceptable," Mark Morrison said. "To add insult to injury... they charged us a $19.54 credit card convenience fee to settle accounts before disembarkation this morning."

Both Carnival and NSW Police are investigating the incident.

In a statement to Yahoo7, the cruise line said: "We sincerely apologise to our guests who were impacted by the disruptive behaviour."

"We have launched a full inquiry into all the events associated with the Carnival Legend cruise. "We offered everyone on the cruise a general 25 per cent future cruise credit as a goodwill gesture.

"It must also be noted that we are addressing on a case by case basis of issues involving those guests who were directly impacted by the disruptive behaviour and where there were extenuating circumstances."

Michael Barsoum had planned to propose to his girlfriend Mary on board the Carnival Legend but it will now forever bring back memories of mass brawl involving several members from the family later removed from the vessel.

The moment in which Mr Barsoum chose to begin his proposal to Mary was also the moment when chaos erupted on board.

“That moment is ruined forever now," Mr Barsoum told the Herald Sun of his botched proposal.

Mr Barsoum, from Cranbourne in Melbourne, said he was forced to stop in the middle of his proposal to help innocent passengers who were being caught up in the bloodshed.

“Women and children were getting pulled into the fights... I was punched in the face trying to protect my fiancée.”

He is among hundreds now demanding a refund for the “cruise from hell”.

“I want my money back. I want a complete refund,” he said.

"Big Italian family" ... obviously recent imports from the names.... multi-culturalism, innit?

Argh, Aye - every cruise ship needs a brig and a Captain's Mast with severe punishments such as keel-hauling and scrubbing the decks with a toothbrush while in chains .....

"What's Boss Karnal's cleanliness doing on that deck, boy?  Get to dirtying it up again afore she catches you!"

Thanks, Gonads. Can you quote from a source that describes this Macedonian family name as the family members who perpetrated this violence?

We'll hold off on our judgement until you've provided the evidence, okay?

Italian, Macedonian ... it just keeps on changing.... meaningless when they're called Mahmoud etc.... they're gypoes and are obviously brain dead and inbred......

Pack of idiots with no balls unless they fight as a family - Jesus -how long has that sh1t been outside the pale in Australia?  Small minds indeed.... and Gypoes...... have to be regardless of where they came from.

Like dear old Slim Mehajer, they're now under scrutiny... I await what will come out of the woodwork over their finances etc......

Slim was in the news today over assaulting a news person..... got a conviction with no fine...

His woes - and theirs - are just beginning... as are the woes of all their cohorts and compatriots in the Mediterraneo ripoff business ... too fundamentally stupid to maintain a low profile while doing wrong.... like all such they begin to think they are above the law...... but it does grind slow...

Now what was all that crud about a Whitey Proof Fence on Ayers Rock, and that crud about the immigration intake and mix?
