Isnt that Goulburn?

Yep.

The War Memorial on Rocky Hill.

They've a quite good museum there as well, if any of you ever happen to be in the area.

I avoid it like the plague Wink. Having said that will be driving through it to Bungonia this weekend.

Why avoid like the plague, or why driving through it or both?

So, Kat, you've taken the leap.

My e-Bike is a Leitner Berlin Cruiser - straight bar - 26inch wheels - 16Ah Lithium Ion battery. Tyre pressure 65psi. Bought in Sept of 2015 to replace my other e-bike that finally conked out.

36 volt 200 watts motor, but I rewired it to pump out 250 watts.

The NSW unregistered watts limit is 200 Watts - if more watts, then must be registered and fitted out like a motor-cycle.

The on-road legal speed limit is only a pathetic 6kph, but the rewiring now allows me to go at around 25kph on the flat without peddling.

One of the first things I did was to go to a bicycle shop and get a decent pair of thick inner-tubes that are thorn and nail-resistant.

You'll need mud-guards.

Adjusting the disc-brakes is a slightly tricky business. If it's not 'just right' you'll get 'drag' because the brake pad is touching the disc, but if it's too far off the disc you'll get almost no braking at all.

Cost me $1400 from Victoria, delivered overnight. I chose the 16Ah battery instead of the standard 10Ah one. I've rode flatout for 2 hours up hill and down dale without the battery going flat.

I fixed a box to the pillion so I can shop at Bunnings and elsewhere.

And yes, it gets you 'there', but it's also fun to ride. I almost always stick to riding along the pavements.

Grin

Well, you've got me there ... BUT! I've gone from 91kg to 82kg in just the past few weeks because I've turned myself into a Fruit Bat and nuts-nibbler and have given away drinking any more fizzy drinks.

I've calculated that I'll be able to see my penis again in the showers sometime in the middle of June or July this year.

Considering its just a matter of kilometres and not stopping, no issues.
