Drill into the skull and extract DNA from bone powder, I guess. So you can get hair type and skin colour from the powder from a 10,000 year old skeleton??? What a load of leftist inspired rubbish. When CNN was mentioned it lost my interest. You can get an idea of it yes. Thats what genetics is about. Skin colour is a response to UV. It has nothing to do with genetics. Partially correct, the mutations in DNA occurred as a result of favouring darker skin in higher UV areas when we lost our body hair. SO yes its a response to UV, but the genetic determinants are there https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melanin#Evolutionary_originsIf it was only to do with UV, people would rangee from Negro to albino in this country year round So being black is genetic then? In terms of melanin production, its genetic. So black people and white people have different genes concerning skin colour? Different alleles. Thanks for clearing that up. people have been arguing me for years on that subject. What do you mean. so white people have a variant of a common gene between white and black people. So they have different genes? No its the same gene, just variants of it. IN exactly the same way eye colour or hair colour is different. but it differs? It won't be the whole gene thats different, it might just be one base out of 10,000 in the entire code. Or in some cases its not even the gene thats different. IN people with blue eyes theres a mutation in a protein ligase gene that shuts off one of the eye colour genes that produces blue eyes.
