Many people have perfect pitch. Having it so young is impressive, though. Looking at the video, I get the impression his father has forced him into doing it - he didn't exactly look like he was having fun.

Talented kid, but this doesn't necessarily relate to his musicality.

A few of my daughters' piano teachers have said she probably has relative/perfect pitch. I doubt she could name the notes as this boy can but she always scores highly of aural exams.

The teachers never make a big deal about it tho and comment more about her musicality.

A good party trick, and it can be quite useful at times, but it's no indication of someone's practical musical ability.

I've seen kids recite pi to 200 decimal places, but it doesn't necessarily make them good at maths.
