But SHAME ON YOU! if you should sport part of the Australian flag as a tattoo on any part of your exposed body.

I heard an interview about this one ABC radio yesterday and one bloke made a great point.

Go to somewhere without light pollution and look up at the majesty of the southern cross.

How could anyone be ashamed of that. Sad

I reckon if you pick this story apart it's mostly BS.
They interviewed tattoo artists and removalists.

Well people get tattoos changed, removed and covered up all the time but seems the Arabic Broadcasting Corporation has cherry picked the southern cross being removed.

I know plenty of people who've had tatts removed.

A guy I worked with had Japanese?? characters on his forearm. He was young and stupid and got it done when that was a thing.

Every time we ordered Thai,Chinese,Japanese takeaway we'd grab his arm and pretend to use it as a menu. Grin

He eventually got is lasered off

Oh, I dunno - some lasses have cunningly placed tattoos so you can admire the mobile artwork as you're working.... heard the story of one who had the daily news tattooed on her back so you could catch up on current events....

I didn't say the Judeo-Christian ethic has a proprietary claim to the Golden Rule, only that it figured strongly in Christian teaching to the effect it shaped and underpinned the social values of the Anglo moral ethos.

This has nothing to do with Cultural-Marxists, it is the fact that individuals who have a shouter cross tattoo now regret it because of the shame that the yobbos in the Cronulla riots etc have brought to it and our flag.

IMO the southern cross would make a terrific tattoo and people should be proud to wear it. My advice would be to not let the embarrassing racist Yobbo's win.
