At least 15 children die in Syria from freezing weather, lack of medical care, officials say

At least 15 children, one as young as just an hour old, have died in Syria in the past month because of freezing temperatures and poor medical care, officials say.

Children as young as three are being lashed at a Muslim refugee camp in Chad for not reciting the Koran loud enough.

A teenager with a leather whip teaches the holy text to around 30 boys and girls who fled sectarian violence from neighbouring Central African Republic.

The cruel tutor whips the children for not being enthusiastic enough, losing attention for just a moment or even making a small mistake.

On Wednesday, a small boy too young to speak was struck in the eye by a strike meant for another girl.

Chad has also become home to thousands of Nigerians who fled attacks by Boko Haram - another extremist Islamic group which has recently pledged allegiance to ISIS.

It has been a year since I began posting these casualty lists from the Muzlim War against everyone. At first, it was met with ridicule by the moderator, but he is a religious fanatic. Since then, the subject has garnered over 57,000 views. Ridicule that.

The gruesome statistics are by no mean definitive, but they show clearly that Muzlims have murdered and massacred on every calendar day over the last 20 years.

These atrocities have been carried out in every country from the Philippines to Morocco and well south into Africa as far as Mozambique. And then there is China, Russia, Europe, UK, USA, Canada and Australia. In fact, wherever Muzlims have gone.

If Islam has a place among civilised humanity, its loudest voices should condemn these acts of sadism and murder on every occasion. They need to do this directly, firmly and continually, in a manner that shames the perpetrators and their sympathisers, with compassion and tolerance. This should be Islam's immediate priority. If not, they leave their history to be written by their most fanatical and bloodthirsty.
