Thank goodness Bull Shitten isn't our PM!!!
Jan 24th, 2018 at 6:21am

THE trade agreement killed off first by United States President Donald Trump and then by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is now back on, with 11 countries striking a historic deal.

Mr Trudeau shocked and angered world leaders when he snubbed them at the APEC meeting in Vietnam in November, as they were on the cusp of signing the Trans Pacific Partnership, dubbed the TPP 11, that his trade minister had earlier agreed to.

He failed to even turn up to the meeting to explain his issues with the deal.

In the intervening months, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Trade Minister Steve Ciobo were determined to resolve Mr Trudeau’s concerns with the agreement to bring him back to the table.

How to resurrect the trade agreement was high on the agenda during discussions between Mr Turnbull and Japanese PM Shinzō Abe in Japan last week.

Last night, Canada and Mexico both signed onto a reworked deal at a meeting of trade officials in Tokyo.

It will be formally signed at a specially-convened meeting in March in Chile.

Mr Turnbull’s view is that the logic of the TPP is so compelling that once it is up and running, other countries will be eager to join.

The Prime Minister, last night said he was thrilled the deal was back on, is understood to view the TPP11 as reaffirming his job-creation message for 2018.

The deal, officially called the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), will give Australian exporters greater market access to a regional free trade area with GDP worth $13.7 trillion.

Strategically, the deal’s significance also lies in countering China’s economic weight in the Indo-Pacific region.

Mr Ciobo said it will give Australia new trade agreements with Canada and Mexico and greater market access to Japan, Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Brunei.

“It will drive Australian exports and create new Australia jobs,” Mr Ciobo said.

“It hasn’t been easy, but we’re finally at the finish line and Aussie businesses will be the big winners.”

When Mr Trump withdrew America’s support for the original TPP, following his protectionist, America-first election pledge, Australia and Japan had played a leading role in forging the deal with nine other countries.

In the wake of Mr Trump withdrawing from the TPP, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten said the agreement was “dead” and “that door has closed.”

“The TPP is over. It’s dead. It’s not going anywhere. trump has said this. Everyone knows it. So why is Malcolm Turnbull not getting on with sorting out and protecting Australian jobs?”

Mr Turnbull and Mr Trudeau had a bilateral meeting in the immediate aftermath of the Canadian’s snub.

But Mr Turnbull had refused to elaborate on the nature of those discussions.

Thank goodness Bull Shitten isn't out PM!!! He clearly has no vision, no negotiation skills and is no leader. Turnbull has pretty much single-handedly saved this deal that will open up trillions of dollars worth of markets to Australian businesses.

Now Australians will have to wait and see how skillful Mal and the lads are are cracking good deals for Australia.

Must have the destructive union controlled Labor Party scratching their crania.

The TPP has been resurrected and we have signed up
AMM 24/01/2018

It’s damned hard to be positive about any deal made by our politicians given their lousy track record.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal specifically pioneered by the self-serving Andrew Robb is again on the table.

The TPP cancellation was one of the first matters executed by Donald Trump.

...
We shall have to wait, just like we did with Robb’s deal, to discover if Federal Trade Minister Steve Ciobo is worth his salt in working for the good of Australia.

The Waffler will soon begin to crow about jobs ‘n growth as he has with all other flops.

Australia and 10 other nations have signalled they will sign a revised Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal later this year.

Federal Trade Minister Steve Ciobo said the Asia-Pacific countries were “finally at the finish line” following talks between officials in Tokyo.

“It will drive Australian exports and create new Australian jobs,” Mr Ciobo said.

Canada walked away from the 11-nation deal in November, but has since had several issues resolved.

But Mr Ciobo said the Turnbull Government had worked hard to revive the trade pact.

“It hasn’t been easy, but we’re finally at the finish line and Aussie businesses will be the big winners,” he said.
He said new deal would “eliminate more than 98 per cent of tariffs in a free-trade zone, with a combined GDP of $13.7 trillion”.

Trade ministers will attend a signing ceremony in Chile in March.

It is understood the deal will include:
• The abolition of all tariffs on seafood, wine, sheep meat, cotton wool and manufactured goods across the region
• New bilateral trade deals for Australia with Canada and Mexico
• Japan speeding up the reduction of import barriers for Australian beef imports
• Japan eliminating several tariffs on Australian cheese imports
• Improved conditions for Australian service exports within the region — such exports were worth more than $18 billion last financial year

It’s been referred to as ‘the dodgiest deal you’ve never heard of’ and now, Fact Check answers your questions on the TPP.

The TPP was going to include the United States before Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement in one of his first acts as President.

Several original provisions have been suspended under the new deal, known as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

“The agreement will deliver 18 new free trade agreements between the CPTPP parties,” Mr Ciobo said.

“For Australia that means new trade agreements with Canada and Mexico and greater market access to Japan, Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Brunei.”

Federal Labor last year declared the TPP “dead”, saying it made no sense without the US on board.

Speaking from a major economic meeting in Switzerland, Mr Ciobo said the Opposition had been proven wrong.

“If it was up to them they would shut Australia out of this historic agreement and the big wins to delivers our farmers, manufactures and services providers,” he said.

Nearly a quarter of Australia’s exports last financial year, worth almost $88 billion, went to CPTPP countries.

Japan’s Economy Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said the deal would act as an “engine to overcome protectionism” in developing economies.
He also said Japan would again try to persuade Washington to join the trade pact.

Leftist media saturates the news. Fight back. Send articles to your friends, politicians, local media, and facebook.

After her prediction of 12 seats in QLD and then only winning one you would think she would just give it away once and for all .

The problem is, she has no other way of earning fraudulently obtaining an income.

She lives off the AEC's election funding, along with the donations she receives steals from the party faithful.

If she ever had to go back into the workforce, nobody would hire her.

She has a very limited (I'm being generous here) skill set, and fish & chip shops usually employ juniors.

From memory she owned a fish and chip shop, all MP live off the public tit why are you singling her out ?
BS Shorten use to make a living out of selling out workers rights and  grants he forgot about to get into politics
Sure you have not forgot the Talented B Shorten on youtube

Admittedly I find Turnbull a bit of a bumbler not sure how he is better than Abbott but at least he is a self made man he even donates millions to the LNP as opposed to Bs Shorten who relied on union kickbacks.

She was singled out because I was replying to a post about her.

Moreover, while they all live off the public tit, most are capable of earning a living outside of politics.

Hanson, however, is quite simply unemployable.
