Did not know that the women get the same as men. Not right, in my opinion. Men play best of five sets, women best of three.

They charge more for the men's games as well....However woman's tennis generates much more revenue than they pay out in prize money....It is an obscene amount of money for a half dozen games of tennis though....Why shouldn't the woman share in the spoils for their toils???

Sure, they should share the spoils, but to earn them at the same rate as men, they should play under the same terms as men....best of five sets. Yes?

I see your point but there is more than just prize money....Many of these woman merchandise for the sponsors of these tennis events and work just as hard as the men to be the best....I have no problem with the prize money rewarding the men's and woman's winners equally???
